Gesonde groen smoothie / Healthy green smoothy

1 Komkommer, in blokkies gesny met skil aan/ 1 cucumber with peel, cubed
3 Groen appels, in blokkies gesny met skil aan/ 3 green apples with peel, cubed
1 Duim gemmer, gekap/1 piece chopped ginger
Sap van 1 suurlemoen/juice of 1 lemon
2 Stokkies seldery, gekap/2 sticks celery
1 Eetlepel appelasyn/1table spoon apple vinegar
Ys (opsioneel)/ice (optional)

Metode/Method

  1. Verpulp al die bestanddele saam/pulp all ingredients together

Eievruggenot / Brinjal seduction

Bestanddele/Ingredients

2 Eiervrugte/2 brinjals
1 Tamatie, geskil/1 peeled tomato
1 Klein rooi of groen soetrissie, in repe gesny/ 1 red or green pepper, cut in strips
1 Handvol pietersielie/1 hand full parsley
15 ml Korente/15 ml currents
2 Knoffelhuisies/2 gloves garlic
1 Medium ui/1 medium onion
Sout en peper na smaak/salt & pepper to taste
Fetakaas/feta cheese
Olyfolie/olive oil

Metode/Method

  1. Sny die uie in lengtes en braai tot goudbruin/ slice onions and fry till golden brown
  2. Voeg die soetrissie by, en 3 minute later die tamatie, knoffel en pietersielie/add peppers, 3 minutes later add tomato, garlic & parsley
  3. Voeg die korente by en kook vir 3 minute/add currents and cook for 3 minutes
  4. Verwyder van die hitte, en laat dit afkoel/remove from heat and let cool
  5. Sny die eiervrug in die lengte, en maak ‘n holte in die middel/cut brinjal in length and hollow out centre
  6. Diepbraai die eiervrug, of braai dit in vlak olie, tot gaar/ fry bringal in oil
  7. Laat dit afkoel/let it cool
  8. Vul die holte met die uiemengsel, en sprinkel fetakaas en olyfolie bo-oor/fill hollow with onion mixture and sprinkle with feta

Tuna-en-vrugteslaai / Tuna & fruitsalad

Bestanddele/Ingredients

2 Koppies skulpienoedels/2 cups shell noodles
1 Blik tuna, gedreineer/1 tin drained tuna
Vars spinasieblare, gesnipper/fresh spinach leaves, shredded
Handvol gedroogde bosbessies (cranberries)/ hand full dried cranberries
2 Appels, gekap/2 apples, chopped
Vrugte in seisoen, gekap/fruit in season, chopped
Handvol neute/hand full nuts
Slaaisous van jou keuse/ salad dressing of your choice

Metode/Method

  1. Kook die noedels gaar in soutwater/boil noodles in salt water
  2. Vlok die tuna/shred tuna
  3. Meng al die bestanddele/mix ingredientsge for 30 minutes
