Mac Loner unleashes true colours https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/mac-loner-unleashes-true-colours/ Fri, 30 Mar 2018 07:36:43 +0000 https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/?p=2355

Mac Loner
unleashes
true colours

It was never expected, or to say the least, that Mac Loner’s music and talent is beyond all expectations as he was able to discover a way of combining trap and underground music at once and turn it into some amazing form of spiritual galaxy music.

“Now that I’ve discovered my own different way of putting the instrumentals to the words that I’m giving back to the fans, I think it’s a big opportunity for me to introduce my music and to start giving people the hard rap we had in the 90’s, but with a new style and more avour,” he says excitedly.

This has been a long journey for Mac Loner and Triple-LMG (Rekaofela Management) since he started working as an artist and was involved in advertising management. “It’s been a great journey so far – I mean from last year around August creating strategies and advertising new music and few performances was great. And it’s been a great honour to be having Triple-LMG backing me up.”

He adds by saying: “It’s about time I start doubling my work and show people who Mac Loner from South really is!” Mac Loner will release Pain (single) before Pain (EP) containing 7 tracks before late May 2018. You can follow Mac Loner on Facebook at Mac Loner; Instagram: @Mac.Loner and Facebook at Triple-LMG for links, photographs and new updates.

INTERESTS & DISLIKES
I dislike dishonest people and am interested in helping and developing the Klerksdorp music scene.

Besides making my own music, I would love to be a life orientation or sports teacher one day as I am passionate about working with children to better their future. I also have my own recording studio and help upcoming artists to fulll their goals towards their music.

ABOUT MY MUSIC
I do conscious Trap Music, I love writing about my life and about my surroundings and the elements of my society. For example, my track iPhone is a pretty spot-on commentary about the youth, media and culture of our everyday model.  Our hip hop culture is changing more frequently than ever before, reecting on different genres of music that is evolving around us. You’ll know me as a Trap Soul artist bringing conscious trap together. Now you’ll know they’re talking about me.

South Africa’s largest producer of traditional ginger beer! https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/south-africas-largest-producer-of-traditional-ginger-beer/ Fri, 30 Mar 2018 06:56:04 +0000 https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/?p=2360

South Africa’s largest producer of traditional ginger beer!

A small business that was started in 2006 in a garage, has gradually developed and grown into a large factory that not only distributes products countrywide, but even to South Africa’s neighbouring states.

The two brothers, Danie and Johan has taken Supa Ginja to greater heights.  These two entrepreneurs have established the company as an extremely successful business enterprise.

The ginger beer is sold in a dry powder form that consumers can mix with water and then leave to ferment for 24 hours. Supa Ginja currently produces 18 000 tons per annum and has recently invested in a new packaging plant that will double their production capacity.

In order to give clients the assurance that they are getting the best price and quality, only the best raw ingredients are imported from all over the world. Absolutely no articial colours or avouring agents are added to the product, which makes it 100% pure. Furthermore, the product is carefully subjected to a very thorough production process and the recipe still remains a secret.

Every packet also goes through a strict quality control process to ensure that an exceptionally high standard of quality is continuously maintained. Supa Ginja is also a formidable employer with a dedicated workforce of some 116 employees. Every employee is part of the “Supa Ginja family” and is appreciated. The company also employs a number of contractors.

The product is also ideal for vendors or entrepreneurs who can make use of the opportunity to sell a product that has already proven its worth. It is provided to a number of wholesalers nationwide and the general public can also buy it at local businesses such as Overland. Johan and Danie are extremely proud of what Supa Ginja has achieved over the years and are resolutely dedicated to customer satisfaction.

“Our main priorities will always be quality, price and service excellence,” says Johan.

‘Our sisters & bros are struggling,’ says Sammy https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/our-sisters-bros-are-struggling-says-sammy/ Fri, 30 Mar 2018 06:49:26 +0000 https://wowmagazine.co.za/moja/?p=2361

‘Our sisters & bros
are struggling,’
says Sammy

Born in the Limpopo Province, Sam Nkogatse (28), better known as Sammy, is living his dreams as a radio producer and presenter, freelance journalist, publisher, editor, entrepreneur, speaker and author/writer. Sam is always up on his game to share the experience and inspiration he has with young people who are driven by a desire to succeed.

His latest book is due to be released in June 2018 and is based on relationships and marriage. His rst book, “The Black man in the White people’s yard” is an English novel published and released in February 2014. This is a tale of Joy Hills, a wife, mother and doctor by profession. Joy was married to a pharmacist and the two were a happy family, blessed with two kids. Like most love tales that seem to never end with a “happily ever after”, theirs too was short-lived. This is a tale of love and deception and everything else in between. Irrespective of how the plot pens out, the theme is centred on the theme of “Ubuntu”. Sammy’s second book, “Love and lies: My past tense” will be released on June 2018.

“A company, Strongmind Productions (Pty) Ltd that is capable of guiding emerging writers published my rst book which is a best-selling, self-publishing title and was well received by the Department of Education,” says Sammy.

He loves travelling and music and loves the North West province, especially Klerksdorp. He is passionate about development through writing and publishing, speaking and mentorship. He is currently studying Public Relations Management which he always wanted to study. He is also the founder and chairperson of the Samnko Foundation, which is a non-prot organisation involved in community development through education by hosting career expo events, donating study materials to needy students and hosting sessions to discuss difficulties faced by young people.

“I see myself as the beacon of change and transformation through business development and leadership. I want to share my knowledge and skills with the time that I have, so I see lot of young people beneting from this. I also want to encourage young and old people to nd their purpose. The storyteller that I am believes that lives will be transformed and changed.”

As a publisher and writer, Sammy supports local content. “Why do we still have Shakespeare in our curriculum? How many times have our sisters and brothers struggled in writing and publishing? Even my 4-year-old son will read a book by the author who I read at school, who I did not see and who I failed to understand. The time will come when we visit the headquarters of the Minister for answers to that. Some books don’t deserve to be in a classroom anymore, but in a library. Why do we have one title rotating more than 50 years in our education system? Evaluators and teachers along with assessors, publishers and writers, take note… this is the issue that needs to be addressed.”
