A young Grade 12 entrepreneur of Milner High School, Oratile Seroalo is making waves with the launching of a new beauty pageant in Matlosana, Mr, Miss & Mrs Bokone Bophirima, which is a first for Klerksdorp.

The organiser, Oratile says it’s about time to host a pageant for the whole of the North West province. “Other pageants are too restricted and not open to all applicants and we need a platform to give everybody a fair chance,” says Oratile. The pageant is open to all North West participants, irrespective of race, creed or gender. “It will take place on 19 August, a week before the Klerksdorp Street Festival. The plan is to host it at the Recreational Hall behind Milner High. Watch this space for more details!

Entries close on 1 August, but participants must raise R500 for the entry fee that will go towards the pageant and contestants.
