Say NO to drugs & alcohol!
The Sanpark Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centre in Klerksdorp is hosting a unique seminar on 1 July 2017 to create awareness on substance abuse, the dangers of drugs and alcohol. The seminar will be held in the Oase Church auditorium in Margaretha Prinsloo street at 9 am and features well-known guest speakers.
Vanessa Goosen spent 16 years in a Thailand jail after her boyfriend framed her by putting drugs into her suitcase.
A former patient of Sanpark, Thabang Sefotho has been sober now for 18 months. Thabang went through a living hell fighting his addiction.
Famous motivational speakers will give testimonies of their journey with drugs, as well as Vanessa Goosen who endured 16 years in a Thailand prison. Thabang Sefotho will also give his testimony and is a former patient of Sanpark. Thabang has been sober for 18 months now.
Tickets for the seminar cost R100 per person and includes a breakfast. The seminar is of great value for any community member. Subjects to be discussed include a description of what substances are, the effects thereof as well as how to identify a person who is abusing substances or drugs. If any businesses are interested in this event and wish to buy more than 10 tickets, they qualify for discount and only pay R80 per person. They are also welcome to distribute any marketing material at the seminar. Tickets can be bought at the Sanpark office or you can call Sanpark to order tickets and it will be delivered.
